Class rings

Wear them at school? At home? In the shower? While sleeping?

No way, I find them tacky. So overdone, usually huge, and does not look good.

My personal thoughts, though.

I bought one… just as a symbolic thing. I got the smallest possible model so as for it not to look tacky, and the most inexpensive possible without it being cheap, because I know once I hit college I probably won’t be wearing it anymore.

I haven’t gotten it yet. They’re presented at the Junior Prom in April.

Only at school.

^ Didn’t buy one it was too expensive!
I rather buy a yearbook

I find high school rings pointless, especially since I don’t have a strong affinity for my high school. Plus it’s super expensive. But I’ll buy one for sure in college. =]

I thin k classrings are kind of pointless…you buy them during sophomore, junior or senior year, but are you really goign to wear the gigantic thing to school? PLus, after you graduate and go to college, would you even want to wear your high school ring during college? id rather wear a college sweatshirt or something XD

I would rather get a yearbook, which is definitely more memorable.

i didnt buy one i thought they were somewhat pointless for the price i rather spend the money money other ways

I’d rather not pay money to remember high school. college in a year

400 bucks for a ring I’ll never wear? I don’t think so.

I bought one, and I’d wear it if it wouldn’t get in the way of my everyday life (fencing, playing the violin, etc…). My school’s rings aren’t too tacky, so I see a lot of people wearing their rings during every day life.

Naw they’re the epitome of tackiness.

Waste of money IMO.

But if I can find a cheap enough one next year I may be tempted, just nostalgia kind of thing. Of course it would be to keep privately, I would never wear it.

When I was just browsing through class ring designs with a classmates I made a effort to design a inexpensive, and not so hudge ring. I thought many of them more looked/ resembled a marriage ring. I don’t think they are a waste of money, but I do think there are more other inexpensive/ efficent ways to remember of your school/ class.

Eww, I go to a Catholic school and every year we have a ring mass where the rings are “blessed by God” and this object is now sacred which is the biggest crap I’ve heard. The cheapest one is 175 with the most expensive at 500 and I think it’s just ridiculous. Besides they’re really ugly and I’m never going to wear it.
