Clemson Class of 2025 Admissions

Yes, you should call or email. I followed your thread, but it’s been a while. Do you have any family in the area? Only asking because I’m wondering if your age may be causing a delay as an international applicant?? I don’t think 16 YOs can live in the dorms (doublecheck with housing), so <17 students usually live with family off campus. I know you have some great offers; if you choose a school away from your support system in VA, definitely look for a strong parent network. It would be helpful to have people who willingly step up to help when you’re sick, to take you to the airport or sit with you in case of an emergency, etc. Some of the schools on your list, have a great local parental support system for students. Good luck with your final decision!

iRoar says they’ll be doing maintenance again starting 9pm the 25th… hoping packages will be released the 26th

I emailed them today and this was the response:

“Thank you for your e-mail. At this time, we are still putting together financial aid packages for incoming freshmen. We are aiming to have those packages completed by late March. That financial aid package will contain information on the students financial aid as well as any scholarships that the students may be eligible for through Clemson. We will send notification of the students aid to their Clemson e-mails and iROAR portal.”

Really hoping it’s soon! I know I’ll most likely end up at Clemson but I still feel as though I need to wait before seeing the financial aid so I know everything is final.

Our daughter was accepted to Lyceum. But we’re still waiting on final financial aid package (we’re OOS) and at this point, I’m not optimistic they’re going to offer enough to make Clemson a viable option for her.

Ohh okay, I’ll do that! I’ve been a little preoccupied lately but I’ll try calling them today.
No, I don’t have any family there. I don’t think they have such stringent rules in every college but I’m not sure what Clemson’s policy is. Stony Brook, for instance, told me that I can’t live on campus till I turn 18. But other colleges said that it wouldn’t be a problem!
Thank you so much for the advice, I’ll definitely keep that in mind!

Had to call fin aid today because they were missing some info, and they said we could know as early as this afternoon about our packages, but for sure will know by the end of the week. They also said they have a new system this year, and are having some issues with it. Let’s hope we hear this week!

That’s awesome to hear!!

Check I-Roar.

are they out now?

Do we have login information for iroar yet? Or does that come with the email letting us know when the information has been posted?

Thanks for the heads up. Luckily my daughter approved the Duo from school to let me in to check! Our FA package is up.

The process to set up iRoar is covered in the admissions portal “Next Steps” tab.

Yes, it’s up.

Should I be seeing a summary with the cost of attendance? I can not find that for some reason.

There is an aid summary tab (detailing awards) and a separate COA tab.

is everyone’s FA package up? i still dont see anything
