Clemson Class of 2025 Admissions

At this point it’s no longer mid March. I’m so fed up with them

@NCHomeschoolMom They weren’t allowed to hire additional staff. They’ve been under a hiring freeze in addition to furloughs and paycuts to contract employees; unfortunately, they don’t have that kind of leeway. One of the AOs is on CC, so maybe they’ll weigh in with additional info. Good luck to everyone!

Not sure if this will help or not, but these were the calculations another parent ran and posted last spring, using each OOS scenario on the NPC. Unfortunately, it was for the class of '24, so it doesn’t take TO into account. Wish I could provide some sort of update or good news for you guys. Fingers crossed you hear something soon!

does anyone know if Clemson will be doing in person tours in april/may?

Probably not, BUT if you post on the Clemson University Parent FB page, say what day you’ll be there and ask if someone has a student who could give a personal tour, you’ll probably get a few volunteers. List the major and home state, and you may get a volunteer from your hometown or intended major. Keep in mind finals are April 26-30th, so the majority of students will be gone by the 30th. Exam week will be dead, since students will be hunkered down studying/taking exams. Spring game (football) is April 3rd, so that’s a fun time, although you will need to park in town on that day. Tickets are currently only available to IPTAY members due to stadium capacity limits, but it’s still a fun time to visit. If rowing is your thing, (which is cool to get a feel for Lake Hartwell life), Clemson invite is April 17th and 18th, and I think the ACC rowing championship is May 15th and 16th, so there will be lots of visitors in town at that time.

and sadly these probably aren’t even close to accurate for this year due to the test optional applications.

Also, I agree on whats been mentioned about getting extra help and stop stringing along all these people waiting for the financial information. Get some college students looking for service hours and have them handle some of the tedious work so those in charge can get these notifications out. To tell people February, then say Mid March and then here it is PAST mid march and still nothing is just a poor reflection on the school.

Agreed. The simple fact is that the eight other schools my daughter’s been accepted to have done it better…MUCH better. It’s past the point of excuses. Sadly, it’s all for naught since my D won’t qualify for anything but loans. We’re moving on.

I haven’t gotten my decision yet, should I contact them?

Good luck to her; hopefully, releasing her spot will help one of the wait listed, in-state students. We wish her well in her college journey!!

Did you apply after Dec 1st?

You should definitely call them. My friend hadn’t heard either. They called and their application had fallen through the cracks. Admissions told her this happened a lot this year (about 40 other students).

Yup

Ohhh okay, thank you so much!!

I haven’t heard yet either, did you call them ? I couldn’t get through so I emailed instead.

has anyone heard anything about the waitlist?

Yes wondering if the waitlist is a moot point for class of 2025?

Anyone apply for Lyceum scholarship? DS was put on waitlist.

Yes. DS was admitted to Lyceum. Hoping you hear good news soon!

I’m telling my daughter not to count on coming off waitlist after hearing stats from previous years. Doesn’t sound too promising, but never give up hope! Good luck to all!
