Did she have a parking permit? My son does not. We were told we pick up keys in one lot, drive to Douthit to unload car. Drive back to C1or 2 lot, then shuttle back up to Douthit to put his stuff away in his room. We did get an 8:00 slot- so I am hopeful. But have just read nightmare stories!! You give me hope:)

No permit, they let us leave the car for a bit, we got a lot done and then headed out to shop a bit. We’ve had 5 kids we’ve moved into dorms freshman year, it was definitely the easiest. We’ve waited on hour long car lines before, and then dealt with chaos and no a/c.
Oh! They let you leave car in the Douthit lot while you brought stuff up to her room and unpacked a bit? This is great to hear!! My stress level is lowering:)
