Hey,

I'm a junior in hs who transferred schools this year (freshmen and sophomore year at one school, gonna spend junior and senior year at my new school) because of a super long commute. My new school is really tiny, like 150 ish people so theres a lot of opportunities to get leadership positions. However, since I'm a new student, it'll be hard to become pres or vp if i've only been in a club for half the time others have. As an underclassmen, I was a part of..
-Leadership Academy
-Students Against Destructive Decisions (we talked about drinking and driving, self-harm, etc etc)
-Fashion Club
and I had a brief stint in Speech and Debate but had to drop it because of time constraints
At my new school I'm planning on joining..
-Model UN
-Stock Market Club
-Interact
and maybe another club that catches my interest. I'm also thinking about starting a Red Cross club at my school, where I can teach CPR (I'm certified), organize blood drives, educate people on infectious diseases, and talk about current events in the healthcare world (jobs, recent ebola outbreak, etc).

My question is: will colleges look down on me for not having any leadership positions in clubs or will they recognize that as a transfer student I lacked the criteria and experience to hold a higher position?

In my community I'm a leader..student council freshmen year, been TAing every semester, daily volunteering, leadership camps in the summer, etc. will this be enough? I have solid grades, good SAT and ACT score (have yet to take subject tests), other interesting ECs, probs can get good recs and I'm aiming for top 25 or 50 schools such as USC, UCLA, Hopkins, NYU, Georgetown, maybe Columbia or Cornell as a stretch (I realize those schools are of different calibers but thats just an arbitrary list of schools I like)

thanks in advance!
