on the common app extracurricular part, there's space for you to list 7 major activities in order of their importance.
I think i already filled all 7 (2 of them clubs, others are just lessons or volunteer),
but i also participated in other school clubs (only as member though).
Should I have included these clubs in the additional info? Or does it not matter because i was merely a member in them?

You might sound more involved by listing loads of clubs/activites/volunteer work on your common app. However, colleges don’t go by number of things you’ve done; they go by what you’ve done within that group (your position) and other accomplishments you’ve achieved.

I wouldn’t suggest listing all those stuff you’ve done because admissions committee do know very well if you were merely a member in those clubs or not. So, I suggest you ONLY write down the main activities you’re passionate about and you’ve been a president/creator of.

Good luck, and remember, QUALITY COMES BEFORE QUANTITY!

Adcoms want to see that you were involved in your clubs. Anyone can join a club as a member. What’s interesting to them is leadership positions or other important roles.
