You seem to be completely dialed in…any info on Syracuse ED?
Sorry, no info on Syracuse. Waiting on Harvard, Smith et al. which are notifying applicants tonight.
Barnard released a thoughtful essay on the college choice and offered some tidbits of ED information. For the full essay, click on the link.https://barnard.edu/admissions/focus-early-decision
Supplementing Cornell and since Barnard provided sufficient data, adding it to the ED list with the caveat that it is a very rough estimate:
Penn ED 1354 out of 6147 (22.0%)
Cornell ED ~1379 out of 5384 (25.6%)b**
Williams ED 257 out of 728 (35.3%)
Barnard ED ~248 out of 674 (~36.8%)(~18% def=120)
University of Georgia EA 8059 out of 15,614 (51.6%)
Harvard took 938 out of 6473 (14.5%). Harvard Crimson article just published.
Thanks! Harvard Gazette article adds details:

News from Boston university?
I wonder with the increase in ED submissions, if the percent of ED acceptances will rise or fall. I can see arguments on both sides. One one hand, colleges want the high yield. On the other side, more kids are trying ED as a means to get into reach schools.
It appears that there is an incremental increase in the number of accepted students from 2015 to 2016 but it’s not enough to drop the acceptance %.
Penn 1335–>1354
Williams 246–>257
Cornell 1338–>1379
Harvard 918–>938
Adding Harvard:
Harvard SCEA 938 out of 6473 (14.5%)
Penn ED 1354 out of 6147 (22.0%)
Cornell ED ~1379 out of 5384 (25.6%)(def=20.9%, rej=53.5%)
Williams ED 257 out of 728 (35.3%)
Barnard ED ~248 out of 674 (~36.8%)(~18% def=120)
University of Georgia EA 8059 out of 15,614 (51.6%)
The heavy hitters announcing ED today are Brown, Dartmouth and Duke…
Anyone have the numbers for columbia? How many are usually deferred?
Also do we know the breakdown between CC and Fu?
Thanks!
Any info on Washington University in St. Louis? Really interested in applying ED there and would like to know the numbers behind the process.
Columbia doesn’t usually reveal their ED admissions data at all, let alone to the level of detail you have requested. The only thing we know is that they had 4086 ED applications this year which was a 16% increase over last year.
Missed this from earlier this week: Notre Dame.
http://admissions.nd.edu/connect/news/notre-dame-admits-1470-early-action-applicants-to-the-class-of-2021/

Duke ED 861 out of 3516 (24.5%)
Cornell ED ~1379 out of 5384 (25.6%)(def=20.9%, rej=53.5%)
Williams ED 257 out of 728 (35.3%)
Barnard ED ~248 out of 674 (~36.8%)(~18% def=120)
University of Georgia EA 8059 out of 15,614 (51.6%)
I too am curious about WashU. I was admitted in the Early Decision round this year, so it’s more curiosity than anything
WUSTL is pretty cagey about releasing their ED information. This is the only info we had from last year’s admissions Class of 2020 data:
Washington University in St. Louis ED/RD 4729 out of 29197 (16.2%)
I don’t know if anyone has better information. Click on the link to get to last year’s final rundown of all the the class of 2020 admissions data.
