I love USC haters, mutha***as get off USC dick, we going to the championship! I mean, if we get past ohio state, its over. I don’t consider ND a threat. Of course there’s the opportunity of a dumb PAC 10 upset, but I don’t see it. Running game is gunna be crazy this year, and supposedly this Barkley kid has a big arm and should be a deep ball threat every play.

But then again, Im biased. I just don’t see Florida winning without percy, Tebows OVEEERRAATTTEED. All that screaming and long cry baby press conferences isn’t leadership, its an act. I respect his community service and off-personality. But that’s it.

That’s too funny. No one plays with the passion Timmy plays with, so I could understand not liking him. U$C, for all of the cheating they do, seems to have some question marks and depth issues, and seems to be losing people left and right. And as highly regarded as the ‘golden boy’ Barkley is, no team with a freshman is winning the national championships.

Gators are winning it again. Chomp chomp MFer.

If USC’s going to go undefeated in the Pac-10 this year, they better hope Barkley throws less interceptions than he did in HS. I find it hard to imagine him going into the horseshoe and winning (especially with the trouble USC tends to have with mobile QB’s).

I’ll definitely hope that Barkley manages to cut down on the interceptions…again, Sanchez had the same exact issue - though last year, he had the defense to always bail him out

(last year vs. ASU, Sanchez had 3 interceptions and a fumble - but the defense still shut them out)

The running QB will also test the new defense - the last 2 running QB’s USC faced were Juice Williams (shut him down) and Dennis Dixon (er, didn’t shut him down )

Florida’s probably the smartest pick since the season has barely begun, but watch out for Oklahoma and Texas - two very solid teams going in. USC? No.

Oh - and I wouldn’t call BYU overrated at all - they’re a solid team, and they will be solid this season. Look for them to end the season ranked in the top 15-18 teams. It’ll be interesting to see how they do against the Sooners tonight.

Oklahoma is overrated just like Oregon. 4 new OL starters? They might still be very good, but they probably won’t challenge for the National Championship.

I feel bad for Sam Bradford, he’s a great QB and I hope he’ll return soon…but Oklahoma’s got an uphill battle from here.

As for USC, we’ll see how he does against Ohio State, but today vs. San Jose State, Matt Barkley was as advertised…15 of 19, 233 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT

california!
jahvid best tore it up as usual, but more importantly, cal’s passing game looked sharper than it has in a very long time (and marvin jones–as good as hoped). if maryland wasn’t a fluke, i’ll actually be a little surprised if we don’t win the pac-10 this year.

ACC was garbage, SEC was alright. I really think Duke should drop down to FCS level and save the conference some embarrassment during football season.

Good, but we’ll see. Georgia lost, and LSU struggled to put away Washington (0-12 last year) - the huskies racked up 478 yards of offense (LSU only managed 321 but got a key turnover)

ACC (sans UVA) will be fine. I am confident. We had 10 bowl teams last year.

My Demon Deacons will be fine too: great defensive line, offensive line will be better, experienced Sr. QB and the best coach in college football.
