College schedule? Back to back?

I am starting off my
Fall semester in college as a freshman, my question is did I make a bad decision by scheduling back to back classes. Making it to class on time won’t be a problem since my campus is pretty small, but will I be stressed out? I am taking 4 classes (13 credit hours) Monday Wednesday Friday I have 3 from 10am to 1pm with 10 minutes in between lasting 50 minutes each class, and also Monday and Wednesday after an hour break between 1:00 - 2:10 I have a bio lab followed by lecture, so basically 2:10-5:00 with a 10 minute break, basically will I be able to manage that?

Are you not taking any Tues/Thurs classes?

No, off on those days

Well, your seven-hour school day could have been avoided by spreading your classes out more. I would definitely get tired of not getting out of class until the evening.

I’m sure you’ll survive though. Plenty of time for homework on T/Th.

You should be less concerned about back to back classes and more concerned with the fact that scheduling all of your classes on the same day means exams, essays, and project due dates will tend to fall around the same time.

I think it’s all right. I like back-to-back classes better than spread-out ones. This year I’m done at 2:50 on MWF and 12:45 on TuTh, and it’s a lot better than last year when I had morning classes in addition to classes until after 6:00 p.m. every day. However, I wouldn’t take only MWF classes or only TuTh classes because I’d be really lazy and unmotivated on the days when I didn’t have school. (It would be different if I had a job, but I don’t right now.)

I started my junior year this year as a commuter and scheduled back to back classes t/f from 9:30 to 4:45

My classes have 15 minutes between each; and each class is an hour and 15 minutes. Hasn’t been bad
