I think I may have asked this before, but here goes because I don't think I got an answer lol. I have a highhhhh old SAT I + Writing SAT II (2350), which I CANNOT get on the new SAT. Will colleges see my older scores (summed) and take them over my new scores (except for the UCs of course and other colleges that are like that)?

yes, almost all of them will

I am not sure in regard to the Old SAT and the New SAT; however, strictly speaking of the old SAT, colleges take the highest subscore, which is also known as a composite score, I believe.

Zogoto ~ Where are you with the old scores and two additional SAT II's (out of 4,000 possible total)?

I've heard that some colleges will evaluate only based on the new SAT and required SAT IIs so that everyone will be on the same level and no benifits will go to those that have the SAT+SATWriting score. But I guess you would have to ask the admissions officer where you want to aply

Some colleges, about 2/3 of them, will take your highest score from the OLD SAT or NEW SAT. Some of those will take your highest single sitting, others will take your highest composite score (best Verbal plus best Math from the old SAT, for example). Each school sets its own policy, so check out their websites or call their admissions office to find out for sure. Princeton Review and Kaplan have lists of schools and which tests they'll accept somewhere on their websites, but don't completely trust them. Make the call yourself.

One notable exception is the whole University of California system, which will only accept the New SAT.

I have a 2350 with old SAT + Writing, and a 800 IIC score. I will take physics and chemistry in may or june, depending on how I do on the new SAT this march. So people will actually still consider the old SAT right? Sounds good
