@michigangirl2016 Wow, Carman is the nicest? I visited some of my friends who go to Columbia and they all live in Carman, and I thought it was pretty bad. It is literally worse than my high school dorm, which is a complete disaster comparing to other boarding schools. It’s probably because I only visited boys’ rooms though, as all the rooms were pretty messy and smelly to say the least.
@greysanatomy3113 It’s the same portal they gave us to check completion of our application. You should have an email with your application ID from soon after you submitted your app.
@TrazCapDEV comparatively to the rest of the dorms, Carman is the nicest IMO, I had a few friends living there this summer. Hartley is the oldest and it’s definitely obvious. It is cool though, a bunch of famous people (Langston Hughes, etc) have lived there!
@TrazCapDEV wait I lied it was Furnald that was nicer. Carman’s lounge is the cool one though.

@michigangirl2016 thanks for the heads up! I can’t find any online videos of the res. halls or tours… Just a few pics here and there! I still like the idea of suite-style though. Any room is nice if kept nice, too.

What other schools did you guys apply to? I also applied UChicago EA but that result will come out even later.
@dr0wning I submitted early apps to MIT, UMich, and Fordham but I’m planning on applying reg to Brown, Barnard, Boston University, Harvard (lol) and Northwestern!
Also, happy you finally joined! I was a lurker for a while too. What do you want to major in?

I want to major in Econ! My second choice is International Relations, probably. What about you?
@dr0wning I only applied early to Columbia but i have a lot of regular schools: Cornell, Upenn, Brown, Duke, Weslyan, JHopkins, Carnegie Mellon, Tufts, and bunch of UC schools
