would they email the student asking for quarter 1 grades or just the guidance counselor?
Neither me nor my GC has been contacted so far. No interview. Worried!
same. but interviews dont mean anything. it just is a matter if an alumn is available in your area. i have a family friend d who does interviews for columbia and she confirmed that for me
@tiko1999 same
@ayudameporfavor I am, but I do not expect much, just waiting for the rejection to come in
It seemsUPenn and Cornell ED applicants are the most hyped ones.
What other colleges are you guys applying to?
Also, I know there are statistics online saying that there is a 20% acceptance rate ED and 6% RD, making it seem like it is easier to get accepted ED, but I know that could be due to athletes perhaps. Do you guys think the chances of getting accepted ED are stronger?
@Meesha I didn’t get an interview
@columbiaplz I’m feeling you but in the Applied Math boat.
Everyone, we have all done as much as we can. I think being on this website can just drive you more neurotic. We should be spending this time writing essays for other colleges. We all will do well in college and have fun in our lives no matter where we go.
Did anyone apply to SEAS for Civil Engineering
thank you:). @MNOPCOLLEGE It is prob too late now anyways.
@cryinginspanish I did! I loved their civil lab!
Sending out good luck and virtual hugs!!!
I got an interview, and I applied to seas. It’s probably bc there are lots of alums in my area
@columbiaplz my brother did ed for mechanical engineering
Applied as BME to SEAS anyone else
wow looks like a LOT of us applied to SEAS this year. Good luck aspiring engineers!!
Does the admissions office care about your preferred major in SEAS? My top picks were Materials E, Applied Phys and Operations Research and I haven’t heard about anyone else choosing them. I just really want to imagine that I have an edge with those I guess.
