i’m suffering…

@trirunner96 thanks I go to school in Cambridge. How bout you?

@ilovethecity he got his right before Thanksgiving :/

Wait…So… we can check the decisions now? oh nooo, my mindset and I are not ready.

@Dream321, no, not for another 53 hours :)

All this fervor is enough to light a Christmas tree

Thank you @dlafklm for the reassurance !

I’m really expecting a deferral, ugh I just want to be done with the college application process

i hope they don’t care too much about my sat subjects hee ^ ^"

@doodlecat I thought you got accepted via a likely already?

@ilovethecity I’m also making a reaction video lol. If I get in, I’m posting it, if I don’t I’m going to wait till regular decisions come out and make a combined reaction video.

I’m so scared that I’ve been getting my hopes up for nothing… I feel like I’ve been too optimistic when I’m not even one of the stronger applicants. I just want to know my decision :((

@ltDani Same here, that’s how I’ve been feeling every since I submitted my app… For me, my SAT score is the biggest concern

Like literally the all the decisions are made by now. The last two days, if I’m not mistaken, are used to check and re-check if there are any errors among the admitted/rejected/deferred and for the dean to personally sign the admit letters.

Nothing you can do now, heck, there was nothing anyone could’ve done once s/he pressed that “submit” button.

T-48 hours, everybody!!!

@viphan Just curious, how do you know that that’s true?

@ilovethecity The book “The Gatekeepers”. It extremely well details the process of selective colleges’ admissions process.

@viphan
I know about that book. However, I decided not to read it, as it was 12 years old. I wasn’t sure if it was up-to-date with the current admissions process.
For college admissions prep, I read “Fat Envelope Frenzy” by Joie Jager-Hyman, a former Dartmouth adcom. It was addicting and had a lot of good info. I also liked “The Overachievers” - that’s my 2nd favorite book ever.

Does anyone know typically what percentage is accepted/deferred/denied?

I’ll check them out, thanks!
