Columbia ED Class of 2019

@hanobal‌
Last year for Early Decision, Columbia received 3,296 applications. Exactly 650 were accepted, for an admissions rate of around 20%.
I haven’t found stats for ED deferred or denied.

Did they release the number of ED applications they received yet? And if not, does it mean they got a disappointing amount or something?

@livingdoll I go to a prep school in Dedham, but I live in Needham. Do you go to a private or public school?

@tccbay‌
Not yet. Both Harvard and Columbia release stats when admissions time rolls around.

is the ED acceptance rate lower than RD?

@misslanette‌ No, it’s significantly higher.

@misslanette‌ I wrote this before, but 20% of all ED applicants are admitted from a much smaller pool.
Hopefully, this will work in your favor!

@trirunner96‌ private school in cambridge
