@KingJoffrey I’ll definitely be posting to CC with information on the major once I get in. It’s extremely difficult to find info on it, so I look forward to being able to help others out.

Cal has some PACS courses uploaded to youtube if you’re interested in checking them out.

The language requirement wasn’t an issue for me, although I took two semesters of honors spanish, and one of regular to try and compensate for the missing semester. It’s not a required pre-req, you just have to complete 4 semesters by the time you graduate from Cal.

Yes! Very curious about this. I just applied to UCB (transfer student) for PACS program and they sent me a link for a form to fill out my prereqs to obtain an idea of how prepared I am for the major. I have completed 3 out of the 4 semesters on the foreign language requirement. On the form however there is not an option to put down three semesters, just a radio button that states I have completed the language requirement with four spaces to list courses/schools. It does say on the form to put “PL (planned)” on any course that will be taken in the future.
Should I click the radio button that says i have completed and put my last semester as planned? Otherwise it does not allow me to list any of my completed language semesters.
Additionally there is a space for PACS10 which can only be taken at Berkeley. Should I fill that out as planned too? (seems stupid).
Any help appreciated since I have to have from completed and submitted by Jan 31, 2016.
Hello! I know that this post was created almost a year ago, but I am also applying to transfer from a community college to this major in Cal, and it is so difficult to get to know other people with the same objective! You got in, are you liking the program? and do you think that me being native from Barcelona makes the second language requisite complete? Thank you very much!
lol hey guys late to the party, I have the same question. What did you guys do? I also only have 3 foreign lang classes and have not taken PACS10. On assist.org it said we can use igetc instead of the College of L&S requirements but idk how to put that on the Berkeley website.
