<p>I’m always amazed at how hung up people get on how selective various schools in Florida are. You can transfer to any school in Florida with an AA. Roughly 1/3 of all new students at UF every year do just that.</p>

<p>An AA doesn’t guarantee admission lol. You need a certain GPA and there are different requirements depending on what college you wanna apply to in order to get in with an AA.</p>
<p>If you are applying to a non-limited access major, the requirements are quite low. It’s mainly just a matter of completing the prerequisite courses and finishing the AA. That’s true at any Florida school. </p>
<p>That’s not a knock on the schools. I think community colleges are a terrific way to save money, and should be promoted more than they are.</p>
<p>It also depends on how many slots will be allotted to transfer students.</p>
