I submitted my app to Swarthmore at the end of October. Should I have received an application confirmation note?
Thanks!

I don't think they send any confirmation. They would probably contact you if anything was missing...

they sent me an email with a login/password to check the progress of your application, as in what they have received and what is still outstanding.

Wow. The admissions office goes high-tech to match their new digs in Parrish. That's new.

Yile, when did you submit?

Did you apply online? I sent my app through UPS and I'm wondering if I still get that online checklist login.

I've gotten the checklist thing too. I submitted my Common App sometime in mid or late October, and sent in everything else around the first of November. I sent everything but the Common App through regular snail mail.

Probably part of that big web-redesign that is going to be released soon...

i think i sent it like a nov 10th ish? not quite sure but around then.

i didn't get anything like that

i got one of those too , maybe 2 weeks ago
and i sent mine in like oct 20 something

I didn't get any e-mail either, but I'm applying RD, so maybe that's why.

I got an email telling me i'd forgotten part of their supp, which even though the common app has you submit it online, you need your GC's sig on. I completely missed it, but they gave me two weeks to get it in. Nice people they are :).

yeah! i actually didn't get my GC's signature either so they sent me an e-mail with stuff.

What?? We need our GC to sign? So you're notified only if you're missing parts of the app? If I haven't received any word from them since I submitted, does that mean I'm all set?

If something is still listed as "Outstanding" on my online checklist thing but they haven't contacted me, is it safe to assume that they have it but have yet to code and file it?

if you gave them an e-mail address on common app or something, they will probably contact you if your missing something. otherwise, i'm sure they'll contact you somehow-most likely snail mail
