I haven't received confirmation that my application has been received. Anyone else?

me too

I am even more worried...
As I haven't received confirmation from 5 schools yet

If applications are really up sharply, as some posters have said, then it may be taking more time for the admissions office to process all the apps. You can always call the admissions office and ask when the confirmations go out, if you should worry if you haven't gotten yours yet, etc.

I have not yet received my confirmation and I am worried as I applied EDII. I plan on waiting till monday to call the office though, as I understand that they have a large amount of mail spilling into the office this year.

Son applied RD and is still waiting, although he did have his interview.

I interviewed (alumni)...in December. So I should theoretically be in the system. Three other people I know of at my school applied and none have heard...I feel better and I am thinking they are also first working on ED IIs (which I sort of wish I was one of, except for financial reasons)

Relax guys, Swarthmore states on its website (or in the application booklet) that it does not send confirmations. It will let you know if anything is missing. Otherwise, you're fine!

Ugh, I mailed my app and I wish I would get one so that I would know it didn't get lost...

I heard that each applicant will get a confirmation and a PIN so that he/she can check the status online, I am not sure...

My D just got an email (actually two identical ones) this evening with information for logging into the website to check the status of her application and see what was missing. She applied RD, so I guess they're getting to those applications now.

Yay for hope!

hmmm...
haven't received a confirmation email.
... should.. i worry?

Son applied RD and had everything in before Christmas. He never heard anything so he contacted his regional rep by email. The rep responded stating that emails would be sent to RD applicants sometime in February, and if anything was missing he would be given the opportunity to submit it. He was told not to worry. So I am passing that info along to all of you as well.

thanks!
i dont know.. my friend and some people on CC already received the confirmation emails, so i was just somewhat scared.

I feel better about Swat now...I won't phone their office unless I don't hear by early February.

Yeah, I just got 2 identical e-mails from Swat about 2 days ago telling me my ID and password. I'm sure they're going through the apps now and sending out e-mails.

Same here. I got the email last week with my login and password. When I logged in to check, the site said Swat is still missing my application fee, but I paid online with a credit card. Hmm...I guess I'll just wait it out and if it still says I'm missing the fee, I'll worry about it then.

Yay! I got my emails and everything is in! I was so worried before, but now my heart is eased.

I just got my email today..

For EDII Applicants:

I applied EDII, but it says 'Regular Decision 2006 Application Checklist' on the top of the webpage.. should I be concerned?

Yes, you should be. Contact Swat ASAP.
