Confusing Question about Recs/Transcripts Online

Soo..my GC said she wanted to do the recs online. I invited her, blah blah, but she said she cannot upload the transcript online. Then she said that CA doesn't want online recs unless online transcripts are given. Is this true? Can she and my other teacher do the recs online and send the transcript through snail mail?

Anyone?...

Can you check with her what "cannot upload" means? If it's the system rejecting a submission because of a lack of the Transcript being uploaded, technically speaking, she can upload a simple document that says you'll be sending them by snail.

Yes, what your GC said is true.
This is directly from the Common App Support Center: "The teacher and counselor recommendation process is to be completed either all online or all offline. The college admissions offices do not want to receive the forms online and then receive paper evaluations and transcripts on paper. If there is a part of the online process that the counselor or teacher is unable to complete, the only choice is to opt out and do the form on paper."

So I can't have one teacher and a GC do recs online and another teacher send the recs by snail mail?
