I'm sorry to say I only "discovered" college confidential several days ago. I WISH I had heard of it before. Even these past few days I've felt much better about the whole end of the college process, because I felt like CC was an outlet. I could share information, share experiences, share emotions. I could actually find people who applied to the same colleges I did (my actual classmates, in general, applied to vastly different colleges than I did, and most have never heard of my schools). It felt great to find kids or parents who actually knew what I was going through and what schools I had applied to. To use an old saying, it really got stuff off my chest emotionally.

Thank you so much. I will probably be using CC throughout college, and for grad school--- yes, I'm already prepping for that now ;).

Thank you very much! Without this site, I would never be able to find so many people, thinking of going to the same school as I am. We shared all our pre-decision stress and after-decision relief here.
I will continue using this site even after I graduate!

Thanks for everything, CC. Although I only recently registered, I lingered on these forums for most of my college application process. I can't imagine a more valuable and all-together wonderful college website.

I'm with blip, I'll pay back for all the help I've gotten by staying on this site while in college and helping the class of '06, '07 and onward (my sister is class of '08 and I'm going to drag her to CC when it's time)

We thank you, too...my son for the relief he feels at his mother finally having a place to go w/all those thoughts and discussion ideas he's tired of hearing...and me for the place to go while I try to stay out of my son's way while he makes his decisions! It has been positively sanity-saving to log onto CC each day...and yes, I'm now addicted...I find I care as much about the regular posters' outcomes as I do about our own!!

I've made friends--real and cyber--through CC and that's a gift for which no thanks will ever be adequate...

My son and I, too, owe you all a debt of gratitude! Against all odds, my son, a BWRK from an area of the country where nearly all high school grads choose to remain in-state, was able to see his most cherished college dreams realized. Yes, he had the "raw material" with which to work, but it was this site which gave us the knowledge, support, and encouragement to make something great of it. Without you all and the many selfless posters who were always willing to lend excellent advice and tireless support, my son's dreams may have remained just that--dreams. To all of you whose expert wisdom and best wishes saw us through this most trying ordeal, I offer a heartfelt THANK YOU!! love to all, ~berurah
