I’m an instate UMich student and a Ross pre-admit (meaning I get a guaranteed spot in the business school in sophomore year, as well as have some other perks like seminars and taking a business course in freshman year). I also got a GT to Cornell AEM for Fall 2016. In terms of money, I’m getting a good chunk of financial aid from UMich, and I think it would be the same for Cornell. I plan right now on going into finance (investment banking and the likes). Both schools are targets, but is there any clear advantage of one over the other?
Both really great schools and have excellent recruiting to WS/IB. Although it may have changed, in the past Ross students were unable to study abroad.
Michigan. The schools are similar, seasonal weather, buildings, etc, but frankly, Michigan is broader, that building for Ross is astounding, and I think you will have slightly more opportunity there.
Now if you want to get out of Michigan, then forget what I just said, bc those differences are slight!
