I was looking at the Cornell Fitness Centers website and I was wondering how many students typically use the centers. Could any students with a membership suggest whether or not it is worth it to buy one?

Thanks.

A lot of people use them! I had one last year. It’s cheaper than any NYC gym I would go to, and if you go 2-3 times a week or go to a group class, it’s definitely work it. The gyms are usually packed on weeknights.

if you are looking for a part time job. the fitness center hires monitors and you can work 4-6 hours a week and get a free membership.

^^Agree with max. D got a job at the fitness center her first semester. She wanted/needed ( for Cornell Traditions) a job anyway. But she kept it for 4 years and always had a free membership.
