Is Cornell Dyson School of Business and Hotel Administration easier/harder to get in than the School of Industrial Labor Relations?
…
Apply to the one that is relevant to your interests, not the one that is purported to be the easiest to get into.
An engineering applicant could surely apply to CALS and have a bit of an easier time about it, but why would he?
Well my son is a freshman AEM major. He has been telling me that some of his professors have been saying they expect the admission rate for AEM Dyson to be 1% this year. Last year it was about 7%.
Apply to whichever school fits your interest. Not which one seems easiest. You have to demonstrate why you are a good fit, so it wouldn’t make sense to apply to Hotel administration when you have no experience in hospitality.
