<p>There's a direct flight on US Airways from Philly to Ithaca....kind of pricey though. There's also a bus...forget what the cost was.</p>
<p>There are also a bunch of people commuting between Ithaca and Philly every weekend. Car pooling is a readily available option.</p>

<p>I lived 2 hours from Cornell....I drove</p>
<p>Carpooled, drove, bussed, biked. In one case I flew, but I had some meetings in New York so it wasn't direct by any means.</p>
<p>i live right outside of philly - you can get there in 4 hours. Best route:</p>
<ol>
<li>Northeast Extension of PA Turnpike (I-476) all the way to the end to</li>
<li>I-81 to Exit 8 to</li>
<li>NY Rt. 79 - this will take you right into Collegetown/Cornell</li>
</ol>
