Cornell University Fall 2020 Transfer

I contacted CALS. I don’t think they have gone through all acceptances and I think there are acceptances/rejections in every round. I will let you know what they respond.

I read through the link you replied to me with and the data for the section you’re referring to is the number of students that actually enrolled in Cornell after being admitted as transfer students. So they likely accepted a lot more than just 23 students! Just a thought to keep in mind

@blueki yea but i feel like kids who applied to cornell had cornell as their number one option so prob 97% of kids who got in enrolled. they likely maybe accepted maybe 5-10 more kids then they show in enrollment

@trasfer4200 but u have to consider the financial aspect so the yield may have been lower?

Accepted to Cornell Engineering ORIE major! I am a junior applicant from a T30 in NYC (take your guess). I don’t have an amazing gpa but i did do some research. Any other admits to engineering hmu please

@dumbbrownboi When did you get notified of your acceptance?

I actually found out Monday but recieved the packet today.

Rejected from Dyson Today
3.82 GPA - SAT: 1530

@ripcollegeapps sorry to hear. did you get your decision yesterday? Did you apply to Applied Economics and were you a in state student?

Congrats @dumbbrownboi!!! did you get notified by the engineering department beforehand?

@uclashmeed Yes I did! This official from the engineering department emailed me and was really helpful with my questions.

@dumbbrownboi Congratz! When did you complete your checklist?

@GGTRIG I finished it on March 15th, but most of my supplemental materials only got in by the first or second week of April.

@dumbbrownboi thanks!

I called admissions yesterday and the person told me that decisions can come as late as July. :frowning:

@goofyspooks What college did you apply to within Cornell?

Congratulations

So the decision can release at any time?

@ndrsn0208 It says it is a rolling process for cornell, which is kind of unique.

It is rolling but they tend to release on Tuesdays or most of the decisions on Tuesdays.
