Cornell University - Spring 2018 Transfer - Discussion Thread

@cals2018 I feel like I’m being rejected already though… given that they still haven’t told me about their decision (even though they’ve already reviewed my application)
So frustrating.
@Chiriank UM is not my dream school though;(

@calshopeful2 have you been able to access your self-service portal today?

@cals2018 are you sure they said today was the final day?
I called yesterday and once again was told: “it is a rolling decision process that will go through December…”

@cals2018 ummmm how? ><

@0jacobo0 that is what I was told by them on 3 different occasions

@cals2018 oh ya! There’s an error… i think it’s just a general system error though…

@cals2018 damn.
I still find it odd that none of us have received our decisions yet

Denied by CAS. I am curious whether they offer the same words on that letter?

@helloapple how did you find out? by email or resetting pin

Both and my decision says: “However, as the number of well-qualified and highly recommended applicants to the university has continued to increase, we have had to deny admission to many candidates who could no doubt take full advantage of a Cornell education.” So sad. Good Luck to the rest of you.

Accepted to CAS…COMPLETELY OUT OF EXPECTATION :blush: Having spent so much money and effort on Umich…really hard to choose now

is anyone applying to SHA and has anyone heard back from SHA yet?

Guys may I ask for an advise please? I am an international student and I plan to study math, possibly double major CS. I have no idea on how you compare these two schools as an American. Will the reputation of Cornell provide an advantage for my future study or job hunting in US? Thanks!

@Mockingjay98 can you share your stats pl?

I would go cornell @Mockingjay98 , although for both schools you won’t have problem finding job

Has anyone heard from CALS today yet?

@AAA1897 nope. This is giving me anxiety

@AAA1897 me too:(

Accepted CAS for econ.

@Cornell321 can your post your stats? And what classes you had ?
