For the people who got accepted, did your financial aid transfer transcript status change from ‘initiated’ to ‘ordered’?
My college GPA was a 3.5ish. HS GPA 5.1
Not too many ECs.
SAT was 2200s
I’ve been accepted to Cornell before in HS and couldn’t go at the time.
@bajhn Thanks for the advice. My stats are far from impressive I think. HS gpa 3.7+, college 3.8+. Weak EC activities and weak recommendation. Maybe I was in because of the essay, but I think it is never excellent enough for the admission to Ivy. Still having a hard time to decide between the Honors Math between Umich and Cornell. Good luck to everyone!
Shall we create a Facebook Group for the admit?
@leonardx5 we should, also has anyone heard from financial aid yet
@genieforuboi niceee, can I add u on facebook… apparently I dont anyone who’s going so I can create a group with just myself… hmmm and sorry unfortunately I dont know about the financial aid T.T
I really can’t get over the fact that nobody has gotten their decision from CALS yet
@cals2018
my financial aid transfer transcript status changed yesterday from “initiated” to “ordered”… not too sure if that’s a good sign or it simply happens to everyone
@azimuthal sigh… me too… still wondering if we will hear back from them next tuesday… I mean I’ve always thought that even though I havent recieved my decisions on November 14th, I will at least recieve my decisions before December… but I mean. apparently that is not not the case… sigh
My financial aid transfer transcript status changed to " No current to do item information found".
This happen to anyone else?
Lol the pin trick finally worked. My decision will be released tmr at 10 AM.
This is so so so extremely nerve wrecking that I feel like my heart is in my mouth
@calshopeful2 me too! The fact that we’re finding out so late is what has me worried. Goodluck though!
@calshopeful2 @cals2018

@calshopeful2 did your transeval get updated?
Awww good luck to all of us!!! ( I have no idea what happened to my last comment lol)
@cals2018 where can I find that?
@cals2018 this is what it says lol… it’s looks exactly the same like before…
Your Major:
The Courses you have taken at your previous institution(s) have been evaluated carefully within the context of a CALS Degree. The link below will direct you to your preliminary credit evaluation. Course work currently in progress has not been evaluated. Once a final transcript is received indicating grades of C or better, the course work is eligible for further evaluation into the CALS Distribution requirements.
Your preliminary credit evaluation evaluates your college degree requirements (not your major requirements). A course can be applied to only 1 distribution requirement. Courses that are listed can be used to fulfill both Major requirements and College graduation requirements. If you are concerned about how your course work will transfer towards your major requirements you need to consult with your department advising coordinator. If you have questions after reviewing your credit evaluation, please feel free to email cals-studentservices@cornell.edu.
College credit earned while in high school (this includes all credits earned prior to earning a high school diploma or equivalent) will need further documentation before they can be accepted. Your credit award will be finalized upon your enrollment in CALS and receipt of your final transcript. You must receive grades of C or better for all your courses to be eligible for transfer into CALS.
If you have AP credit, you must send an official copy of your AP score report to Cornell for the credits to be awarded to your record. AP Credits will not appear on your preliminary credit evaluation, however you can view our AP chart to see what scores may earn you credit.
You are allowed to transfer a maximum of 60 credits.
Transfer Credit Evaluation
@calshopeful2 does it say no evaluation available under that? And does it say your name and major on it?
^says name and my major as well as no evaluation
I am confused though bc it has both CALS and the Dyson logos on the top of mine… would it say Dyson because my intended minor is business?
@cals2018 no… it does not… mine doesn’t even have my name lol… just my app ID… and what I’ve posted previously… is that a bad or good sign?
