I think want you to send updates to this address: undergradapp@cornell.edu
@dhc @techilliterate , thank you. Son went back and re-read the FAQ, and here’s the paragraph:
Does anyone know if Cornell actually does that “two waitlist” thing??
Where one waitlist is legacy/developing schools that they want to sugar-coat, and the other is only 200-300 students that are actually being considered…
Is this a thing at Cornell? Any info that anyone heard helps!
Is it okay if I emailed my LOCI to the email of the college I applied to?
Which college?
@collegedream101 I’m sure its fine.
@collegedream101 , on the cautionary side, forward the email to undergradapp@cornell.edu and say that you just realized that this is the email address to send updates. Duplicate copies won’t hurt you, but missing LOCI will.
@bogeyorpar arts&sciences said it’s been added to my file… should I still send it?
oh, in that case, you are good.
ok so i accepted the waitlist but i’m not considering cornell anymore, should i email them and ask them to take me off or does it not matter
Take yourself off! Otherwise you’re taking a spot for someone else. @wigrlpwr

hope i get off but the chances seem slim
Does anyone know if CALS usually accepts people off the waitlist?
How likely is the chance to get off the waitlist if I applied to Arts and Sciences?
I looked at the common data set recently, and 2% got off of the waitlist last year. Individual schools were not specified.
Last year the college of engineering didn’t go to the waitlist at all ^
@collegedream101 , where did you find college specific waitlist info.? We are wondering about Human Ecology.
@Winky1 check the 2021 waitlist thread
Hey guys where can we find contacts of Regional Admission Officers does anyone know? Thanks!!
