i figured it'd be nice to have another thread that doesn't say "what are my chances."

To current Cornellians: What's your favorite dining hall. Next, explain why!

My answer:

well, it's a tough call. Most of the time, i really like Okenshields. Unfortunately, that place can be either hit or miss. Sometimes, it's more like Oken*****s, but other times they have amazing food. I like it because it's different. It's not the same old burgers, pizza, etc. I'm always pumped to try new types of food, and Okenshields certainly provides. And happy Dave is the coolest card swiper out there. I typically catch dinner there daily with my girlfriend.

I also like Risley for lunch. By Risley, i mean i like Cece (the asian woman who cooks the stir fry). It's gotten to the point where she knows what i want w/o even asking. I highly recommend current students load up a bowl of veggies and meat (not tofu) and request coconut thai and (i'm not even gonna try to spell it right, just sound it out) sez-wan with a hint of hot sauce. It'll explode in your mouth like wonderful little flavor crystals.

RPCC is also wonderful, especially for brunch on sundays. Since it's far away from where i live on west campus, i typically only go if i have an insane craving for chicken nuggets or can get a ride with somebody. I prefer RPCC over North Star in Appel.

For the cash/big red bucks thing, the Statler is best. Those wraps are crazy. I'm not a fan of Trillium, however. That place looks like a million bucks, but the food tastes like it should be $5 less than what i paid for it. I'll just settle with the $3.99 chicken quesadilla if i have to go. Ivy room also gets props for awesome sandwiches and cheese sticks.

Ok Cornellians, carry on!
