Counselor said forms mailed but still not showing up??

I went to ask my counselor about it a few days ago and she told me she already faxed the forms to one school and mailed them to others but none of them are showing up on the checklists! Should I contact the schools, ask her again, or wait a couple more days?

First off, the snow storm could have delayed mailing… Also, it takes about a week or two to get them online for the checklist, due to most schools packed mail room

I was just about to ask this question!
My counselor/principle said she mailed the forms on the fourth of January but Deerfield still hasn’t received them! One their website it says not to contact them until after the 1st of February about missing pieces of your application… Do you think there’s any chance they could still get it? Or that it’s in a pile somewhere waiting to be opened?
I’m just worried because the 4th was quite some time ago…

Patience is the key. My D sent her stuff long time ago, but only till yesterday did 4 of the 5 schools acknowledge receive all her application. SPS is still playing catch ups, so far it is missing most of her stuff.

I called all four schools applied to last week to be sure that everything had arrived. Everyone was very nice. One school said the application and math rec were missing and I said that the school told me that all their forms were sent together, and I asked if I should call back in a few days. She had me hang on and came back in a few minutes and said they had everything.
Another school that had online application had 2 parts missing and checked the computer and they had just not downloaded them yet.
I thanked them, said I was sorry to bother them at this busy time and they all said something like “absolutely not a problem.”

Last year one school never got my child’s english recommendation. I did not check with that school and never saw a checklist online until a week before decision time when we logged in to be sure we could for an online decision. I called right away - even though I knew it was too late. The admissions folder was “pulled” I was told the committee had “waived” needing it and not to worry. Turned out to be a waitlist.

lesson learned. Since they start reading next week in most cases, i would call Monday if it info appears missing.
