couple of questions...

Ok, first question...If you have a year or so of college before trying to transfer into university, do your high school marks count for much? I basically had a C average in high school

Second question...My college marks arent great, because I had a learning problem that was undiagnosed, (although now it has been, and my marks are gradually improving) - like...would that be taken into consideration if my GPA is slightly less?

If you have only one year of college before transferring, then yes, your High School grades will be considered. After 2 years in college, most colleges no longer require you to send HS transcripts and look only at your college gpa.

I would make it known to the perspective universities that you are applying to the situation with your learning issue. They will most likely take this into consideration when looking at you as an applicant. You could either use this issue as your essay or include an additional essay explaining what happened. Most universities are interested in hearing about circumstances that have had an impact on grades.

if you only have one year of college under your belt then yes, they pretty much split it 50/50 with your high school grades and SAT scores and your college marks

i'm pretty sure they will take your learning disability into consideration but it will only really take you so far if your college grades are low...but best you explain it as well as you can on your essay
