Course Questions For Summer 2009

She was scheduling for 2 hours. I was concerned and knew she wasn’t getting classes she wanted. When she finally came out she said that all of the classes she wanted to take were full and they were helping her put a schedule together but having her take macroeconomics in Fall and she was really concerned that it would too much for her to handle so we went back to her dorm and found a Hist/Cultural class to swap it with. Her classes in summer start at Noon, she wanted 10am but noon is fine.

Summer:
Human Species (this is a science class giving her 3 credits towards the 6 needed for GEP)
Intro to Hospitality & Tourism (her major)

Fall:
US History 1877-present (3 credits toward cultural/historical)
Intro to Sociology (required for GEP, chose that instead of psychology or anthropology)
English Comp
The Event Industry (this is at Rosen, the classes at the main campus were full. She’s going to try to swap it and, if not, she met another girl at orienation who is also taking this class and has a car. This is their last class of the day).

Her classroom hours in Fall aren’t too bad:

Mon and Wed ~ 3 classes starting at 10am, ending at 4:15pm
Tues and Thurs ~ 1 class starting at noon
Friday ~ 2 classes starting at 10am, ending by 2pm

We checked the professors on ratemyprofessors and all of them have nice reviews.

Add-Drop-Swap is changing for Summer B:

Drop/Swap deadline is July 1st
Add Deadline is July 2nd
