<p>I'm trying to figure out what classes to sign up for before I go to CTOPS tomorrow (late i know :D) but it seems that none of the classes have any available seats...at least not for the fall semester...</p>
<p>Can any1 give me some suggestions on what Connections courses I can sign up for?</p>
<p>and is it likely that I'll be able to get into Math 233 or Math 381 and ENGL 101 and Chem101/L during the add/drop period?</p>
<p>They open at spots in most classes just for each CTOPs, thats why you dony have any open seats.</p>
<p>I think, unless you’re exempt, you <em>must</em> take English 101 in your first semester… Not sure, though, since I was exempt. But you shouldn’t worry about taking that class!</p>
<p>you don’t have to take it your first semester… in fact, it was full when I tried to register yesterday… I’ll probably try to take it next semester…which leads to my next question… when do we register for spring classes???</p>
<p>According to the First Year Guide, if you place into English 101, it must be taken during the first semester. This is exactly what is in the guide:</p>
<p>“If starting with ENGL 100 or 101, you must begin the sequence in your first semester, and continue until you have completed ENGL 102.”</p>
<p>hmm, well that sucks… I don’t want to unregister for one of my other classes just to take english… I’ll email some1 asking about it…</p>
<p>EDIT: okay, I figured a way for me to move some classes around on monday, and trade history for english which is good
