Our football tickets are $75 for all home games, which includes the USC game. With basketball, I think it's around $125-ish?

Everyone says getting a permit is near-impossible for freshman. But how about if you're living off-campus? Is that same grounds as an off-campus job?

maybe if you live far enough off campus they'll give you one... i know they are $200+ a permit for each quarter... the only way to get a permit is prolly off campus job as said before... but my question is where the heck are all you freshmens trying to go with a car? everyone of you seem to want a parking permit...

That's not up to UCLA; it's up to you apt. manager.

I got in UCLA but I submitted my dad's signiture past the FAFSA March 2 deadline (everything except my dad's signature was on time). My ePAL showed that I received cal grant and alot of federal aid. Is my ePAL right or will I not receive the money?

Do you have a UID yet? Call the FAO.

I have no idea what UID or FAO stands for.

BH, i think he meant that parking permit when he get to UCLA from his apartment?

DO YOU HAVE A UNIVERSITY IDENTIFICATION NUMBER??? YOU SHOULD CALL THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE!!!!! as;dlkfj

Your UID is stamped on your acceptance letter . . .

I tattooed my UID to my left ass cheek.

Thanks guys. I'll call sometime tommorrow.

Pink is screwing with you.

THAT'S WHAT I SAID MR SPAAAAAAAaAAAAAAAM

Oh wait, I didn't read the full message

:(

wow guys. way to be helpful.

here's another helpful tidbit:
THIS IS NOT HIGH SCHOOL. you do not need a car. having a car is not a sign of independence, it is a huge burden and financial drain for parking permits (if you manage to even get one) and you are far better off without one.

you can live one year without a car. you can live two years without a car. by the time you're a third year, you'll prolly be in an apartment, and then (generally) you can have a car. meanwhile, give up the ghost already!!!

quick question.
how hard is it to switch into the engineering college? i applied and got accepted as letters and science (to take the safe route). i know they evaluate my high school record, but is it something i can do fast, like on orientation?

should i apply to the honors program just in case i wont get into engineering? if im in the honors program, i can still change to engineering, right?

being in/not being in the honors program won't affect your attempt to switch to engineering. that much i know. as for actually switching, i think you have to wait a quarter and apply, i really don't think you can do it at orientation.
