Do you think we will get one later today or that we won’t get anymore checkins until they tell us if we are accepted or not?
To be honest, I don’t think they will send us any more checks until May 28th. I think from now it’s just a “you got in” or “you didn’t”
yea i called them on friday and that’s basically what they said. they said that we will get an email if we get in between now and then if waitlist spots open up.

got in for spring admission! sent in a new letter of rec and a semi-long loci… do u guys know if enrolling for spring disqualifies us from being eligible for fall admission?

If you were admitted for spring admission, that kind of eliminates fall admission. Congratulations.
no it doesn’t at all. I enrolled for spring, and have been speaking to my admission counselor frequently. They have said that I am still considered for fall and on that waitlist. If you think about it, they are trying to give the students who they really want off the waitlist a spot there, and thus give Spring if that’s the only room they have. It would make complete sense for them to give any open fall spot to those students who have already been taken for Spring because those are the ones they want most given that they’ve already offered a spot.

thanks :)) i just got an email back from my counselor and he said we’re still considered for fall, but when i called the admissions office earlier, the lady said it’s “highly unlikely” that they’re going to have space for fall… i honestly don’t care at this point haha time to take cc gen eds ig

Hopes until 5/28? I thought Case was waiting until that date to be in contact with those on waitlist about news for possible openings to get off waitlist and be admitted.
On their previous email they just said they’ll be back in contact on May 28th. However, in previous years they closed to the waitlist by that date and only contacted individuals before the 28th if they were admitted from the waitlist. They were very vague in their email so I don’t know if they may extend the waitlist time because many other schools have just started accepting from waitlists as timelines have been pushed back this year. Still hoping for the best either way tho

what’d you think? did you fill out the form? seems pretty pointless to be honest. they are at full capacity…
filled it out just for comfort… feeling pretty bad rn. it’s unlikely but there’s still a chance top schools will admit from their waitlists.
