I have a D in my first semester of Senior year for Physics but I already fulfilled the requirement of Laboratory science for three of my classes from freshman-junior year (ICPS, biology, chem). Does this still count as a D in the a-g required courses and will my acceptances be rescinded? I plan to go to CSULB and CSUF. Will speak to GC about this soon. thanks
Regardless if your Physics class is an extra a-g course, provisional admission to the Cal States specifiy that you need to maintain a C or above in ALL a-g courses. Yes, speak to your GC immediately to see how you can take of this problem. Most schools will be willing to work with you, so they will probably not rescind your acceptance until they have all the facts. They may just give you a warning that you have it get the grade up to a C by end of year, but be proactive and take the initiative. Good Luck.
