D Second Semester (Spring Semester) of College (CSU Stanislaus)

<p>I got a D this last semester of 2011 in spring grades for one of my classes (to be exact geology)...Am I getting rescinded? It was very hard for me to raise to a C and I tried but still couldn't after my last final (& was going through personal family matters and in this course there were only very limited points to accumulate which unfortunately I did not end up accumulating much of it)
Do you guys have any miraculous stories to tell me of previous University of San Diego students who didn't get rescinded with a D second semester in Spring? Can you tell me what I can do? Any suggestions?
I'm getting depressed just thinking about getting the rescinded notification...</p>

<p>Btw, I am trying to sign up for an online course/reg. course at a community college for this summer to make it up to an A or B? Will letting the admissions counselor this help my situation?</p>

<p>I was accepted as a Transfer Student to the University of San Diego for Fall 2011 from CSU Stanislaus. I have not yet accepted my admissions because I am waiting for some financial aid information to clear up. Additionally, how much will this D affect my financial aid situation.</p>

<p>Every school is different with financial aid, but since credits only transfer (not grades) it might not even affect you. </p>

<p>If you don’t mind me asking, what was your transfer gpa and what is your major? I am trying to see if I can get into USD as a transfer as well. thanks!</p>
