Hey fjrosales2014, congratss on your acceptance!!!
Haven’t heard anything yet. :(

fjrosales2014, might I ask what is your GPA?

Yay! I got in too! Where is your internship @fjrosales2014?

@basik156 my gpa is at 3.7 i think right now.

Im going to braunschweig! omgggg it feels so surreal

I will be in Lüebeck! Good luck everyone else!

I just got my acceptance email as well – I’m going to Jülich! What an exciting opportunity. Is anyone applying for the language course?

I am thinking they are processing the applications by fields like Bio or Engineering first, etc… and send the acceptance emails to those early. :-?

For those who got accepted, what type of job did you apply for?

Mine was EE.

Chemical engineering, specifically micro-process engineering

I’m curious to hear some of the stats of those that got in. Could you guys who got accepted post: whether you applied for RISE/RISE pro, GPA, whether you had an interview or not, and what your field is?

No fb group has been made yet. No way to diminish your hopes further by looking at the rising number of members in that group.

RISE
GPA: 4.0
Year: Junior
Interview: No, just a few back and forth emails early on.

RISE

Wait, so everyone who got in got emails and/or an interview beforehand? Because I haven’t gotten any of those yet. C’est la vie

Well, I initiated the emails just for curiosity’s sake. However, I was notified by the PhD candidates back in mid-February that I had been selected by them to send up to DAAD. Keep in mind that not all of them do this, however.

Congratulations braumeister :)

I am just curious though: different schools have different levels of academic intensity. How do they guarantee that simple ranking from high to low will be most accurate?

RISE

Interview: A couple of emails
My Field: Applied Math
Selected Field(s) on Applications: Applied Math, Computer Science, Other Engineering
