I just realized that i never sent in my families whole tax return. I just sent in the front page (W2). I never recieved an emails from princeton about this, despite recieving mail from other schools. This probably means i was rejected. =(

it might have. oh well. :( or, they just didn't get to your finaid app... not sure if it's possible, though.

i received a letter in the mail and E-Mail and called them and they were very nice about correcting it.

Not a for sure, don't give up hope yet.

I'm not too big into the "What-if" game, but there are many scenarios in which you haven't been contacted yet for the financial stuff, but did get in.

i wasn't really contacted by yale other than an idoc request...

Their failure to contact you means nothing, IMO. Need-blind schools work up FinAid packages on all applicants, completely without input from Admissions.

The most likely reasons you weren't contacted, IMO, are:

1) oversight
2) illness
3) the income reflected on the W-2 was, by itself, sufficient to make you ineligible for financial aid, and/or the W-2 and the other docs submitted (FAFSA / CSS), were all that was needed to calculate need
4) there's still time to contact you before decisions are released
