Greetings from ______. I hope the admission process is going well.

My purpose in writing is very simple I have visited the Dartmouth website many times, and have decided that Dartmouth College is the best place for me to pursue my undergraduate education. There is no question that when I receive an acceptance in April that I will attend Dartmouth.

I see no reason to delay letting you know about my decision of coming to Dartmouth, and I hope this early indication will "ease your mind" a bit. The college admissions process is unnecessarily long and anxious for many schools, considering a low yield rate last year. So, relax, get back to your admission office, and stamp those acceptances. My decision to come to Dartmouth will help with your current yield rate.

If you have any questions about me, please let me know. In the meantime, best wishes for the remainder of the year

Sincerely,
