Davidson Handwritten note

About a month ago I received a handwritten note from a Davidson admissions officer. It was fairly generic, and so I assume all applicants received a similar post card. But of course, with April looming nearer I've been trying to find clues as to my status and was wondering if in fact everyone got one...?

So here’s the deal. I visited Davidson on a trip that they paid for. I was expecting to be stuck with a student after a series of inspiring speeches about why I should attend Davidson if accepted. When I got there, I was treated to dinner with almost all the admissions officers. We talked about everything, not only admissions and by the end of the night we were on a first name basis. Later that night they entertained us, and I ran into the lady that handled my admissions applications while we were playing an admissions organized scavenger hunt. She asked me and the other prospective students what our names were to refresh her memory. I told her my name, and she reeled off my high school’s name, the city I was from, and a few of the things I mentioned in my application letter. The point being that Davidson is a highly personalized college.

The following morning, I visited the office of admissions to find that it was actually a quaint house across the street from campus. All the admissions officers answered any lingering questions and they saw us off at the end of the trip

A week later I recieved an e-mail from my admissions officer, and the friends that I made recieved something of the sort, either in e-mail form, handwritten, or in letter form.
