it's post marked right?

I think so

I think that it means that they must have it by 1/15. Sometimes they run behind and don't process it by the deadline, inwhich it would be considered "on-time" eventhough they could process it a week later. If you haven't sent it yet, Id recomend running your credentials up there physically.

No, all your stuff has to be there by the 15th. UT has a hard deadline. Not post marked.

What olives said

From UT's website: " Items submitted electronically need to be submitted before midnight (central time); items submitted in paper format need to be in an admissions office/center or in the hands of an admissions representative on the deadline date"

I wonder if you live in a city w/an Admissions Center (like Houston, Dallas) if you could drop it off there.

It would definitely show dedication. :p

it says on their web that everything has to be there, not postmarked...since im out of state, i made sure to send everything in early enough so it got there, but it seems they pushed back the deadline?

^ The deadline was always January 15th.

Today is the deadline! Handmail your stuff today if you have any! :]

Nevermind my post. They've just extended the deadline to January 21st, 2009!

The deadline was pushed back to the 21st AND the forms can also be dropped off at your local admissions office by hand if you're running behind.

Where did you hear (or read) about the deadline extension ?
