Admit Weekend was absolutely incredible. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, or a better school. Everyone was ridiculously friendly, spirited, and down-to-earth. I don’t think I can include a schedule, because it’s password protected, but there’s so many things to do.

-Your favorite parts?
My favorite parts were the late night chats or walks where I was really able to get to know some of my fellow profos. Not to mention the speeches from administrators, former students, lectures with amazing professors, tons of social activities, dances, activities fairs, picnics, and a whole bunch of other things.

-Memorable Moments
Everything was memorable. I could recite what I did every single day clearly and without a beat; it was a great weekend.

-Dislikes? (if any at all)
None that I can think of right now–it really was amazing lol

-How was your RoHo?
I didn’t really get to spend time with my RoHo, but not because he was unavailable. Our dorm decided to have a sleepover/slumber party every night in the common room, so we’d sleep together in a large room and stay up until 4 AM talking or watching movies.

-How were the people?
The people made Admit Weekend what it was. Just being surrounded by so many brilliant, accomplished, and sometimes famous people was so humbling and inspiring. I still don’t know why Stanford picked me compared to all the amazing people I met, but I hope I can live up to the expectations, haha.

But seriously, everyone was incredibly friendly and kind. Whether it was a former student, a professor, or a ProFro, everyone was eager to meet you and really get to know you. Many of the cross admits I met, whether they were stuck between Stanford and Harvard or Stanford and Yale, ended up choosing Stanford because of the people. The Admissions Office does a great job constructing a well balanced and truly kind class of students.

Are you going to accept your offer of admission?
Absolutely. I’m a foshofro now ;)
