I’m pretty sure it was the graph with only one bar/value was the right answer bc that means that all the numbers were the same as the mean and therefore has a standard deviation of 0. (Cause the numbers don’t deviate at all from the mean)
For the one with all the bars leveled out, let’s say there was one 2, one 3, and one 4. Then the mean of these three would be 3, and the 2 would deviate from the mean (3) bc they are not the same value. Whereas if the three numbers were all 3 (and there was only one bar) the mean would be 3 and each of the three values of 3 would be equal to 3 and have a standard deviation of 0.

Please correct me if I wrong cause I probably am :-S

750, whatever. I got a 730 last time, so this probably won’t mean that much, but I guess it is okay. Last time I omitted 3 questions, and this time I omitted 6 questions.

I’m actually taking Trig/Pre-Calc this year. So, I had no knowledge of approximately 20% of the whole test. I used Barron’s and self taught everything. I was scoring around 620 on there and I just quit, thinking I’ll fail. After test day I was sure I would get around 670. Ended up with 760. Don’t know how but I’m too happy!

Went from a no-prep 700 to a well-prepared 630. I walked out of there thinking 800… Maybe I got lost on my bubbling like halfway through the test?

Anyone who self studied an 800 on math ii, can you give me any tips? what books have you used? I’ve gone through barrons already. I got a 730 after doing about a month of studying (first sitting)
@Peachmarmalade ?

Barron’s was decent for me. Only had three days to study (:(), so i used the barrons. I did three practice tests. Never scored more than 640 on them. Got 720 on the real thing.

@iconicsoul, @Peachmarmalade, and @GNNHJUN, what did you all do to raise your score the second time? I got a 680 my first try after some half-attempts at studying, but I was really hoping for a 700 (at LEAST), optimistically above a 750.

I just tried to focus more during this test and didn’t worry about the overall score. I just focused on getting each question right when I was progressing through the test.
