i ran out of time for science and reading… the last 5 questions on science and the first few questions on reading…i just blindly guess…yes BLINDLY!!!i didnt know what the answer was talking about…UGH!!!

So far I got the interior angle wrong, but it was one of the only two I guessed on on math, The other being the later Trig question, I ran out of time so I just put c)50.
It was the the one with the fomula a2=… and an angle measure of 40 degrees was given.

Science, I felt was easier, but out of the three acts i’ve taken this is the only one i’ve ever taken practice tests for.

English however, seemed harder. I have no idea why.

And for reading, I almost ran out of time- which is a first, and I usually score 32-35 on reading.

Me: ACT
Grandmother: Pregnancy Test

Results were quickly figured out.
I guess I just hope I do well on the Reading section so my superscore (for the few schools that superscore) is good.

I think the trig question was 52

I had a 32 before, but I wanted at least one extra point because it would help me out a lot with class ranking (my HS factors in ACT as well as GPA). I’ve made as high as 34 on practice tests, so I had high hopes…

I was going pretty strong (like, maybe the best ever) until Science, which blew me away. the last 3 parts of it seemed like gibberish to me, and I ended up sticking random B’s on thirteen questions.

I think I did really well on Math, even though that’s usually a weak point for me… I’m rooting for a 33 or 34. Hopefully that will outweigh Science. With any luck my 36’s on English and Reading won’t go down. Blah @_@ I had hoped this would be my last ACT, but looks like I’ll be there again in February…

Cardsfan, I second that.

Ansar, do you have a list of schools that superscore it? (Btw, I live in Miami too haha)

Was the graph of the electric company the v shaped one?

Reading and science killed me. Had to guess on 3-4 reading and like 5 science ■■■. The ACT is deviating from the “You don’t need any science knowledge, it’s just charts and graphs” rule…

that science section was the easiest i have ever taken.

my prediction:

math 36 (i got a 36 last time)
english 33? (i got a 34 last time, but you never know)
reading- 33? (got a 34 last time, but you never know.
science- 36 (i got a 29 last time)

C: 35… (before was 33)

the trig was 52.

The graph of the electric company was the almost L-shaped one

I forget the official term but that graph was letter “F” in my book

Let’s get this discussion going… seems pretty dead!

lay foundation

three sister plants whom, siblings whom?

bebe quote extinct animals

extinct animals due to human eradication for the ones that serve a purpose

author influenced by the 2 peeps after IMF research

10/100 probability of rational number

80 times the volume of cylinder

6 possible lines with all 4 points.

i got who, who… not whom whom =o

Zens, are you sure it was whom for both? I said who, who.

Also, was it just me, or were the last few math questions a joke compared to usual?

Yeah, it was “who … who” not “whom … whom”.

I wasn’t sure, that’s why I put the question mark at the end. Guess there’s my first -1…

I put “who…whom”, that was the only question that made me think for more than a minute. I’ve ready to many different kinds of writing styles in AP lit and i got confused on the rules there lol. Last time i took this test i got a 29 reading, 26 english, 20 math, 24 science. Now im pretty sure everything went up and science went down. had science stayed the same, I probably would have gotten in the 27 or 28 range today =( Science was a killer…who remembers biology, and who hasn’t covered the physics material yet in their physics course…i know i haven’t =/

whatwas the percent answer for the last passage thinngy at the end of the math section?

57% increase

whatttttttt
dangittt

yeah dude, you put 4 right? I put 4 at first, and then thought about it and realized I was using the wrong numbers for the division.

does anyone remember the answer to the second to last question in the science section? it asked which student’s hypothesis about the period(?) was correct. it said sth like “student W thinks the full sphere will have the longest period, …blah blah… , and student Z thinks all the three will have the same period.” ring any bells?
