one of the answers was inverse tan (1/2), right?

BigBluee, yeah.

yes, tan 1/2 was what i put. and for the science section, i said the second student was right, i dont remember wat letter that was.

not inverse tan, arctan (1/2)
inverse is like implying cot lol

and science seemed easy since like most of it was chem and im taking ap chem

i put the student who predicted the enclosed circular sphere

@vault

that was the second to last question right?

Do u remember the letter choice?

i am pretty sure it was C.

crap, I randomly guessed B

do u remember the question with the formula for NO and O2?

yeah the formula was either choice D or J, whichever one was an option.

2NO + O2 = 2NO2

@zlz

u put that because in trial 2 it used 2 times the amount of NO (compared to O2) right?

Other ppl are saying

2NO + 2O = 2NO2

oh, seeing the formula you said, i may have put that one, because i dont think both were an option. so maybe im just mixing it up. i may have put 2NO + 20 = 2NO2

the correct answer for that one is
2NO + O2 = 2NO2

O2 is an element and O by itself is not. you then have to balance the equation so there is an equal amount on each side.

The Science section started to look like gibberish towards the end, I had NO IDEA what my eyes were staring at for some of the experiments, the symbols and words were all over the place! I don’t think the Science this time around was really THAT fair. Oh well.

I felt the same, andloveyelledno :(

Yes, the last physics problem was pure torture… Had to guess on last two.

My guess is that there will be a lot fewer perfect scores on this than previous ACTs due to absurd science section.

agreed.
science was like 24… not joking!
Like, absolute epic fail. I cried after it, and couldn’t write a proper essay because I was so emotionally distraught. The entire room was a pandemonium during the break following the Science section. People were CRYING. I was nearly one of them.

haha futurephy I was so upset after the science section it seriously effected my essay

lol me too

For the one that was the limiting reagant, I so couldn’t think by that point, and I’m taking AP Chem. So I think I went with O2. Anyone agree? And we didn’t have a break after the Science section, and I had to really use the bathroom and clear my head but no.
