December SAT: Math

it depends on the curve. in june, i had minus 9 (i cant remember which were grid ins or not) for a 660. in oct, i only missed 5 (one grid in) for a 680.

what was the one with those parallel lines and the angle of 92 and the figure was not drawn to scale?

hahaha andreaaa.. me too.. i got a 680 too!

i got 13.. for that answer.. is it right?

i think it might be. i cant remember.

13 is right.

180-(92+75)=13

yes!!!! SWEET!

good. thats what i did.

There's this question with 2 squares, one of em is flipped to make a diamond. And there's this point, point E, that looked like it was the center. But the question never states that it was the center. Did anyone else just assume that it was and solved it that way? I got 18, I think it was the 20 minute section. I spent way too much time on that one cause I wasn't sure if I should assume that E was the center.

GlueEater.. 18 was the answer

Also, isn't the r^2st=400 rst=80 question from the Oct experimental? I got A 5

jsmith:

Dang, I should have known and not spend so much time on it. I mean it was a 'middle' question, should have known it'd be easy.

yeah i also wondered about that.

but the square is a square, and so all the sides are the same. so E was in the center, since the diagonal was along the one side of the other square. does that make sense?

but yeah i had 18.

Was the divisible by 3 and 5 thing really asking for an odd number only? Someone please confirm this

Did anyone get a math section as experimental? I got 2 math sections each with 20 Multiple choice (i guess one is the experimental), and 18 questions section, and 16 MC question on math.

it definetly asked for an odd number only

Stryke: Ya, it asked for odd, I just got back from taking it like 45 min ago...

really... dang it! SHOOT... tahts 3 mistakes im such an idiot!

What was the square problem with 18 as the answer?

yes... look at previous posts for explanation

Oh god, I gridded in 26.
I'm pretty upset right now. It's quite funny that I got a 760 on the MathIC but can't crack 700 on the SAT I Math section. It's like the SAT I Math is more of a reading test than a math test. heh

Whats 1 omit and 2 incorrect for this Math Test... I hope its over 700

me too stryke!
