I don’t really have any decent reason to retake, I just feel like I need to because I might be able to improve a little bit and my ECs aren’t really doing much for me so I’m relying pretty heavily on SAT/GPA to get me into a good school (1st choice is Stanford, but I know it’ll be a bit of a reach no matter what my SAT is). I got a 2330 first time without preparation and I think if I retake I might be able to get it up to around a 2350/2360 if I do some practice tests and whatever else I can to improve. My parents really don’t want me to retake and will only let me if I have a good enough reason so I guess if I’m being perfectly honest, I just want someone to tell me I need to retake it. My worst category is CR which is often considered very important (relative to writing, at least) and I think I might be able to get my 740 to a 760 or above.
