<p>no no its a letter that came in the MAIL. i didnt get any emails at all because i submitted a paper app</p>

<p>I also received the same letter about the admissions on 12/10. However, I find it sorta strange that Penn is doing this and no one else is. Has anyone heard about any other schools that are announcing this early? I thought that all the ivy's do everything pretty much the same way, but have they mentioned this at all?</p>
<p>If Penn processes one app every 2 minutes for 8 hours, then they process 240 apps a day. Since they're doing it five days early, 1200 less people applied. So, instead of receiving 3000 something earlies, they only received 1800-2000 something. Our chances all go up to 60%. It's really the only explanation.</p>

<p>Doesn't mean its complete, they send you a green card that says its complete, I got mine today it has a check box in complete and some dudes initials.</p>
