I don't own any orange clothes. I have a pumpkin suit from probably 2nd grade, but I doubt that fits me.

Maybe wear black?

OOO, I just remembered I do have some orange black clothes. They are short shorts though (for running) so I don't think I will try to pull those off at school. I could steal an orange shirt from my brother.

my school colors are orange and black, and next week is spirit week... so on friday everyone is supposed to go all out in orange and black (paint faces, wear strange costumes, spray hair orange, etc)... hopefully those colors do not upset me too much on friday :P

On the minimal chance I am accepted I doubt I will wear a Pton shirt. It's funny because I have one, but when I wear it I get the feeling that people think I'm being an a-hole and boasting.

I didn't buy any Princeton apparel because I didn't want to jinx it, and I don't have any orange clothes... but on the off chance that I'm accepted, I'll probably wear a black miniskirt, brown t-shirt with The Shins and a jellyfish design printed on it in orange (that I bought at the Shins concert I went to last week :)), and bright orange plastic beaded necklace. Because I totally haven't planned this out or anything. (The things we do to pass the time until the 29th...)

I look like a complete and total idiot in orange (being South Asian is a disadvantage in more realms than just admissions!), but I reckon I could nick one of my dad's shirts or something. ;)

Kraor, I'm glad you liked my story. Congrats on getting in ED. Sorry I won't be seeing you around here during April Hosting. And yes, you may definitely friend me on Facebook. PM me if you'd still like to. Same goes for everyone else! :)

Oh and J07, if you're around here for Hosting, we can definitely still meet up. I'm considering changing from volunteering to host just 4 prefrosh to possibly 8 (I'm either insane or really friendly and generous). So if we find each other on campus, you can meet all my '11s and make some new friends. Oh man, I hope you ALL get in!!

P.S. You can all call me Jon. Hah, I'm the guy that everyone on campus knows. (If you're admitted, PM me if you want tips for instant popularity) :D

Oi! That story was wonderful. I have now added the most recent version of the Princeton countdown to my bookmarks as a result. Even though doing so is tempting the wrath of the thing high atop the mountain (West Wing!)

Oh really? Oops. Quoting of Toby Ziegler will improve once I stop stressing on the 29th (acceptance or no acceptance) and start watching my dvds again.

I just saw that bit again to confirm. :D I went on a blitz a few months back. Saw all 7 seasons and then experience what will be the nearest I'll ever get to withdrawal symptoms. Seriously brilliant, an unbeatable show that's rivaled in wit and humour only by Boston Legal in my opinion.

The week before ED decisions came out, my best friend wore a black polo with an orange shirt underneath (so it was barely showing) or an orange polo with a black shirt underneath. Very subtle good-vibe clothing. ;)

I don't really look very good in orange, but I think I might just go out and buy an orange sundress for no reason.

Oh, I see, so j07, you are saying that wearing the Princeton colors BEFORE the decisions come out, might bring everyone some good luck. Well, it can't hurt.

Also, for those who live close enough to drive to Princeton; are you considering driving there soon after getting the news if you are accepted?

I don't know if it will bring me good luck or not, but I'm wearing something orange on Thursday.

If I get in, I will probably be way too excited to go to school on Friday and I'll swing by for my important classes before taking a long leisurely afternoon of pre-prom manicuring/pedicuring and laying out by the pool with a smoothie and a huge Vogue.

haha have fun wearing orange & black/princeton gear, everyone (because YES you all have to get in!!) but hopefully there won't be anyone at your school who gets rejected, so you won't feel guilty...
